I had a great conversation with Drew Myers yesterday about his new GeekEstate Blog. We talked about the company he works for, Zillow, and how they share my passion for bringing the real estate community together.
The GeekEstate Blog is all about tech, one of my favorite topics. We will join Jay Thompson (Phoenix Real Estate Guy) as a regular contributor on this national real estate technology blog.
REAL ESTATE TECH TOPICS FOR GEEKESTATE
Agents always ask about the systems and tools that we use every day.
I've spent tons of money trying ones that weren't efficient or didn't work, so will hopefully save my fellow agents their hard-earned time and money.
Here's just a few topics for tools we use:
- E-signature tool comparison like Docusign.
- Video tech tools, including WellcomeMat.
- Listing tools such as VFlyer or Trulia.
- Transaction management platforms like Settlementroom.
- Comparison of good real estate database tools (i.e. TopProducer.com).
The GeekEstate blog is not just for agents. Although there are other great tech blogs out there, the regular contributors will post from their perspective.

Just a quick correct. Though I wish I could, I can't possibly take credit for founding Zillow -- that would be Rich Barton and Lloyd Frink.
