There's a lot happening in Austin real estate in April. It's an exciting month because buyers and sellers prepare for their next move while investors get ready for the summer rush. For our team, April is a significant month because we're hosting several training sessions for Keller Williams agents and their guests.
March is ending with a bang as well. I was invited by Gary Keller to a boot camp for the Top 100 Keller Williams agents in Austin today. I have a great deal of respect for many of the other agents and broker-associates who will be there and look forward to seeing them at our classes.
Here are our upcoming classes, events, and speaking engagements:
- April 10-ish. Top Investor Strategies. This is a follow-up to the class I gave last winter for investor agents. We will teach how to evaluate deals and solve problems, creative financing techniques, and other tips for being successful with investors. Buffington Mortgage and Alamo Title will also speak on their areas of expertise with investors.
- April 11. How to Flip that House. Justine Smith, our buyer's agent, is an active investor. One of her flips were showcased on the Flip That House television show. We're going to show her segment and discuss how she flips properties.
- April 23. The Buzz in East Austin. Austin City Demographer, Ryan Robinson, will discuss history of East Austin and the recent shift. We'll discuss why the area is growing and how East Austin agents, buyers, sellers, and investors can maximize their investments there.
- May 1. Top Agent Investor Panel. The Goldwasser Team, Jessica Bruehl, and others will join me in a panel discussion on how we increased our bottom lines by investing in real estate.
- May 3 (Tentative). Mueller Austin Agent Showcase. This is for all brokerages. I'll work with Alamo Title to present Mueller topics. We'll touch on the background, current activities, introduce the builders, and discuss future phases. I'll be there as an appointee by Austin City Council to the Mueller Advisory Council.
